We are no stranger to snowstorms and bad weather in Wisconsin, but sometimes you get a really bad storm that goes down in the record books.  Here are 10 of the worst winter storms our state has ever encountered.

January 1947 Maybe the longest lasting blizzard in Wisconsin history, 18-27 inches and drifts up to 15 feet high.

March 1997 Most of the state received about 12 inches, but Hurley Wisconsin received a record 278 inches this winter.
