A visitor writes on October 18, 2008: “There are hayrides past the pumpkin patches and through a woods. The is cost $3.00 per person. There is also a wonderful bakery in the barn. The bakers daily bake apple, pumpkin and cranberry walnut pies. They also offer peach, blueberry and cherry in addition to a variety of muffins. The kids can feed the goats and see chickens and guinea hens, or romp in the children’s play area that has a huge hay bale tower for climbing and little bikes that kids can ride around a track. There is also a great corn maze across the creek. The Little Farmer is a rural, seasonal farm growing 20 acres of apples and about 15 acres of pumpkins on the 139 acres of farmland along the east shore of Lake Winnebago, just 10 miles north of Fond du Lac. It is one of the area’s oldest working farms. The farm has many pumpkin patches where families are able to go out and pick your own pumkins or buy ones that are have been already picked. We encourage patrons to take time for a picnic, and participate in numerous recreational opportunities. The introduction of our U-pick pumpkin patch was well received, and is now becoming a family tradition shared every year. We have grown mums for the last three years, plus asparagus and horseradish were started last year. In 2016, a new bounce house will be added for recreational use. We are also adding an Activities Leader to encourage participation in daily events and will enhance your visit to Hidden Stream.
